Dr. Tracy Huebner
As Senior Research Associate at WestEd in San Francisco, California, Tracy Huebner evaluates and researches complex programs for schooling and children.
Huebner serves as the principal author of a series of reports for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which provide snapshots of success-prone secondary schools and systems in the course of reforming. The series is called Rethinking High School and includes:

• Rethinking High School: Inaugural Graduations at New York City’s New High Schools
• Rethinking High School: Preparing Students for Success in College, Career, and Life
Other recent work includes a year-long study of coherent math systems across districts and managed networks.
Previously, Huebner worked at the Harvard Children’s Initiative as a lecturer and researcher on complex evaluations for school-based programs.
Huebner received an MA and PhD in education from Stanford University and completed postdoctoral work at Harvard University as a Spencer Fellow in Education.
